NOTE: All 3 of our Paid applications: DotMatrix, Qamera, and CamCamX now have the ability to send video output into Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Webchat and most other QuickTime enabled camera applications AND they allow the iSight to be used by all camera applications at once.

INTRODUCING QAMERA which turns any Quartz Composer composition (*.QTZ) into a FREE instant camera (like everybody's favorite Photo Booth). As a plus, Qamera shoots PNG images which can be dropped into web pages, iMovie or Final Cut. With the addition of a paid license, Qamera can rebroadcast any QTZ as a virtual camera input, complete with alpha channel, allowing you to create live, composited special effects with your existing VJ setup, or go crazy with Skype and Yahoo Messenger.

Also, a new version of DotMatrix is available- drag & drop bookmarks and minor bug fixes for the free version, but the big news in the PAID VERSION is the ability to send all 400 DotMatrix presets directly into Skype, Y!Messenger, PhotoBooth and QAMERA!

Today we released a new mini-driver for Leopard that allows DotMatrix and CamCamX to open the Built-in iSight in Leopard's new "Shared Mode". This will allow both CamCamX and DotMatrix to run at the same time as PhotoBooth.

We call this little driver CamCamX5 and it is available as free download.

This driver will also allow Yahoo! Messenger and Skype (applications which support CamCamX) to open the iSight in shared mode under Leopard.
