OK, so we released this new product recently,
VirtualEyez, that, upon first glance, looks like it might only be useful to weathermen and Rachel Maddow. I know, right? But, as it turns out, it can be quite useful for making art with DotMatrix. Many of the DotMatrix art templates rely implicitly on the presence of noise in the frame around the subject.
But after experimenting with
VirtualEyez for afew days here in the lab, it has become clear that cleaning up the incoming camera image with a greenscreen matte (or even a Luma-key) and then blending the image with a solid color background (or even a background photo) can result in some majorly cool new looks for DotMatrix art templates that you have already grown to love. The best part about it is that it all runs in real time! And baby, you have to believe me when I say we have only just begun!
Check it out. If you're a registered user of DotMatrix and you need a license for VirtualEyez, toss us an email and we'll comp you one. DotMatrix is like, the child that only a mother could love. So we dote on her. 'Nuff said.
