Uninstalling CatEye

You can delete any effects that you don't like, retaining the ones you like. The files have a .QTZ extension and they are stored in:

/Library/Compositions

You can search for them with Spotlight and throw them in the trash. You should only throw away .qtz files that came with CatEye. To determine the list of CatEye effects, you can open the CatEye disk image file and inspect the folder contents.

spotlight doesnt find any files either

Anonymous said...: Its in a different Composition folder first click Macintosh HD then System then Library and then Compositions. But make sure you only delete the Cat Eye effects becuase theyre all .qtz files; October 5, 2009 10:24 AM
Alex Jackson said...: For those who can't find the compositions folder is empty, your looking in the wrong folder. Your going through YourUserAccount> Library > Compositions.

You need to go through the Library Folder on the root of your macintosh hd.

So MacintoshHD>Library>Compositions.; October 12, 2009 11:28 PM
